August 2010 – 2^nd Place at the Worlds

Portlethen & District Pipe Band added another trophy to the collection by picking up 2^nd place at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow Green. The band qualified 1^st in their heat and went on to produce a great performance in the final. The band is now in a good position for the final competitions of the season in Mintlaw and Cowal.

Stockbridge Pipe Band Grade 4B again had a successful day finishing in 6^th place overall with the Drummers taking 3^rd, congratulations to the corps and LD Shane Finnegan.
